Gimal

The 3rd Hebrew letter, Gimal ג  numerical value of 3, ancient pictograph a leg/foot pointing towards the left, meaning Walk, Gather, these things signify the Adversary.

Indicating the path man is walking.

Now 3 is 1 + 2 = 3 Gimal

One God + the Christ + the adversary = 3

God said {God's creative utterance}, Let there be light {אור 'ôr}: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness {חשׁך chôshek meaning death}. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night {לילה ליל    ליל layil lêyl layelâh; meaning adversity}. And the evening {dusk} and the morning were the first day Genesis 1:1-5.

I {thus saith the LORD God} form the light {משׁיח mâshı̂yach; the Christ}, and create darkness {the Adversary Satan}: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things Isaiah 45:7.

By his {God's} spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent Job 26:13.

By the word {creative utterance} of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath {Spirit} of his mouth Psalms 33:6.

God created the darkness, that is to say, the advesary, Lucifer, destruction, death and wickedness, the opponent is liken to darkness, dark, dusk, night, obscurity and ignorance.

In the distant past, the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden {Genesis 2:8}, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil {Genesis 2:9}.

Written in the writings of the prophet Zechariah we see the LORD God divided two staves.

I {thus saith the LORD} will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I {thus saith the LORD} took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock Zechariah 11:7.

Two Staves- מקּלה    מקּל maqqêl maqqelâh; to germinate; a shoot, that is, stick (with leaves on, or for walking, striking, guiding, divining): - rod, ([hand-]) staff.

The Lord God took two trees {staves} and feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock.

The Tree of Life is the Christ, the Anointed Son of God, a shoot, that is, stick (with leaves on, or for walking, striking, guiding, divining) is called Beauty {Grace} and the LORD God fed the flock.

The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil is Lucifer, he has disguised himself as the Angel of Light, a shoot, that is, stick (with leaves on, or for walking, striking, guiding, divining) is called Bands {a rope (as twisted),} and the LORD God fed the flock.

The word tree is symbolic.

The Tree {עץ ‛êts; staff} of Life -  the bright and morning star, the angel/Cherub of Light, the Christ {Revelation 22:16}.

The Tree {עץ ‛êts; staff} of knowledge of good and evil, is Lucifer, son of the Morning {Day-Spring; Isaiah 14:12}.

There are two Cherubs {trees; staves}. These two tree {עץ ‛êts} yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, yielding seed after his kind.

A good tree bringeth forth good fruit; A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Utterance is the fruit of thy lips.

A corrupt tree bringeth forth corrupt fruit; A corrupt man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil; for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh, a corrupt tree bring forth, a lie, that which is evil.

In the distant past, The LORD God placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way {to convert and to pervert}, to keep the way of the tree of life {Genesis 3:24}.

LORD God spoke to Moses about the two covering cherubims.

Thou {Moses} shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof Exodus 25:18-19.

For the law having a shadow {obsecurity} of good things to come, and not the very image of the things {Hebrews 10:1}.

They served in a temporary tabernacle that was a pattern of heavenly things, this is why Moses was warned when Moses was about to build the tabernacle: for, See, said God, that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain {Hebrews 8:5}.

The two cherubims over the mercy seat were a pattern of two heavenly cherubims. The two cheribums signify the one Son that God sent from heaven and the one Son that went out Eden, these two sons are the two covering cheribums.

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth Isaiah 37:16.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel Exodus 25:22.

The prophet Ezekiel,

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee Ezekiel 28:12-15.

Tyrus- צר tsôr; a stone (as if pressed hard or to a point); (by implication of use) a knife: - flint, sharp stone. צוּר tsûr; A primitive root; to cramp, that is, confine (in many applications, literally and figuratively, formative or hostile): - adversary, assault, beset, besiege, bind (up), cast, distress, fashion, fortify, inclose, lay siege, put up in bags. The king of Tyrus signifies the adversary, Lucifer.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer {הילל hêylêl; in the sense of brightness; the morning star - lucifer}, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man {not earthman this signifies a celestial man} that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? Isaiah 14:12-17.

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 1:78-79.

Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction {signifies trouble/tribulation} and iron Psalms 107:10.

darkness- σκότος skotos; shadiness, that is, obscurity: - darkness. σκότος skotos is from σκία skia; “shade” or a shadow; darkness of error; shadow.

darkness- חשׁך chôshek; the dark; hence (literally) darkness; misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness: - dark, darkness, night, obscurity. חשׁך chôshek is from חשׁך châshak; A primitive root; to be dark (as withholding light); transitively to darken: - be black, be (make) dark, darken, cause darkness, be dim, hide.

Tribulation {pressure; to crowd} and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile Romans 2:9.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it Matthew 7:13-14.

Strive {labor; struggle; contend with the Adversary} to enter in  at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able Luke 13:24.

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it Luke 16:16.

presseth- βιάζω biazō; to force, that is, (reflexively) to crowd oneself (into), or (passively) to be seized: - press, suffer violence.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand Ephesians 6:11-13.

Now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire Luke 3:9.

The word tree signifies man {Mark 8:24}.

What is the axe?

The rod of iron:

iron- בּרזל barzel; iron (as cutting); by extension an iron implement: - (ax) head, iron.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel {Psalms 2:9}.

He shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father {Revelation 2:27}.

Jesus rules this world with the Rod of Iron, until "ALL" of His enemies are trodden under foot. Trodden under foot signifies the grave.

For he {Jesus Christ} must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet {1Corinthians 15:25}.

Who are the enemies of God the Father and His Son?

It is written,

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God {Romans 8:6-8}.

The carnal mind is the enmity against God. Thus, the carnal minded are His enemies whom will be trodden under foot.

What is the Rod of Iron?

Definition of the word ROD - G4464 {ס̔ב́גהןע} rhabdos hrab'-dos From the base of G4474; a stick or wand (as a cudgel, a cane or a baton of royalty): - rod, sceptre, staff.

A rod is a screptre, a staff.

What is a sceptre, a staff ?

Definition of the word SCEPTRE - 4294 {מטּה    מטּה} maṭṭeh  maṭṭâh mat-teh', mat-taw' From H5186; a branch (as extending); figuratively a tribe; also a rod, whether for chastising (figuratively correction), ruling (a sceptre), throwing (a lance), or walking (a staff; figuratively a support of life, for example bread): - rod, staff, tribe.

Definition of the word STAFF - H4731 {מקּלה    מקּל} maqqêl  maqqelâh mak-kale', mak-kel-aw'From an unused root meaning apparently to germinate; a shoot, that is, stick (with leaves on, or for walking, striking, guiding, divining): - rod, ([hand-]) staff.

Definition of the word TREE - H6086 {עץ} ‛êts ates From H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence wood (plural sticks): -  + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.

There are Two Trees {Genesis 2:9}.
#1. The Tree {staff } of Life
#2.The Tree {staff} of knowledge of good and evil.

There is Two Staves {Staves is plural for staff}.

Zechariah 11:7  And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one {staff} I called Beauty {Grace; New Covenant; Rod of Correction}, and the other {staff} I called Bands {bondage; Old Covenant; Rod of Iron}; and I fed the flock.

Definition of the word STAVES - H4731 {מקּלה    מקּל} maqqêl  maqqelâh mak-kale', mak-kel-aw' From an unused root meaning apparently to germinate; a shoot, that is, stick (with leaves on, or for walking, striking, guiding, divining): - rod, ([hand-]) staff.

The staff the LORD God called Bands.

Definition of the word BANDS - H2256 {חבל    חבל} chebel  chêbel kheh'-bel, khay'-bel From H2254; a rope (as twisted), especially a measuring line; by implication a district or inheritance (as measured); or a noose (as of cords); figuratively a company (as if tied together); also a throe (especially of parturition); also ruin: - band, coast, company, cord, country, destruction, line, lot, pain, pang, portion, region, rope, snare, sorrow, tackling. H2254 {חבל} châbal khaw-bal' A primitive root; to wind tightly (as a rope), that is, to bind; specifically by a pledge; figuratively to pervert, destroy; also to writhe in pain (especially of parturition): -  X at all, band, bring forth, (deal) corrupt (-ly) destroy, offend, lay to (take a) pledge, spoil, travail, X very, withhold.
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar Galatians 4:21-24.

Hagar {Agar} signifies the Old Covenant and her son signifies children of the flesh. The Old Covenant is bondage and gives birth to bondage.

The Old Covenant is the ministration of death which was written and engraven in stones {2Corinthians 3:7}.

The staff the LORD God called bands is liken to a rope, to bind.

Jesus speaking,

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn Matthew 13:24-30.

There are many tares, they are disguised as apostle's of Christ, they have made a name for themselves {Mark 13:5-6} and they have deceived many people. The Rod of Iron, the LORD God called Bands, is liken to a twisted rope, the snare that is binding the tares is liken to a staff, a rod, a tree.

The enemy is the Adversary, Lucifer has sown the tares among wheat. The Old Covenant binds the tares all together and it is the axe {ministration of death} and Satan is the deceiver whom has blinded their minds with darkness, obsecurity, shadow, bondage, these words signifies the Old Covenant. The staff called bands is liken to a twisted rope.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith Galatians 3:10-11.

The curse of the Law {Old Covenant} is death.

For the wages of sin is death Romans 6:23.

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law 1Corinthians 15:56.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law 1John 3:4.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1John 3:8.

Many have not ceased from their own works and have built again the very works that Jesus Christ has fulfilled.

For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor Galatains 2:18.

Many oppose the LORD God themselves through their works of the flesh.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate Titus 1:16.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works 2Corinthians 11:13-15.

Path: There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death Proverbs 14:12.

Bondage signifies an iron implement bars indicating prisoners of a spiritual war that are held captive, bound together by a staff called bands, Satan, the god of this world has blinded their minds, many remain in the shadow of darkness and are under the ministration of death.

Walk: Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted {roar} in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them Psalms 39:6.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it Matthew 7:13-14.

There are two paths, two trees.

The 3rd Hebrew letter Gimal ג is the origin of the 3rd Greek letter Gamma {uppercase Γ and lowercase γ} numerical value 3.

Notice that the Greek uppercase letter is to the right, indicating the right path and the lowercase indicating two paths.
